One of the basic principles for managing risk for any business or commercial undertaking is to diversify , have multiple vendors and customers , so that you are not adversely affected in case any one business shuts shop.
But some times , some people prefer to be loyal to a single company for personal reasons. In case there is a change in the management, you have to start afresh with another company with whom you have no track record. Most companies give their older customers a better deal.
One of the disadvantages of having a team or a large setup are the overheads. The more overheads you have, the less flexibility is possible.
Many people will do any thing to earn money and fame, but if you use unethical means, the money does not last for long. Normally when any one owes you money, you have to follow up with the person regularly to make payment. But I encountered a strange case where a particular company Y*** is desperate to send a cheque to me and then ensure that I encash it. This is a Delhi based company with UK ownership.
They had sent a cheque in July and were following up continuously to check if I had encashed it. Now again I received an email saying that I had requested the cheque and they were unable to provide any valid proof that I had really requested the cheque. Are they trying to frame me and why ?
